LED lamps integrated into the railing posts for “Hafenkolonnade Bingen”

The LED-lamps that are integrated into the railing posts were specially developed for the project "Hafenkolonnade Bingen". This collonade, which was built as a noise barrier, is around 1,000 m long and includes a pedestrian walkway. Both, latest LEDtechnology and reflectors tailored to that, create a harmonious lighting atmosphere.

Only in the dark the LED-lamps can be perceived as lighting sources since they are integrated into the railing posts. Due to its dimensions of only 2.5 x 7 x 10 cm, one single LED-lamp is really small. Nevertheless, the LED-lamps are very sturdy since they consist of aluminium that is anodized in a black colour.

Owing to the 230V LED-technology, additional converters are obsolete. The LEDlamps are supplied by the current network. As a whole, the power consumption of the “Hafenkolonnade Bingen” is only 5,600 W, since it was equipped with 700 LED-lamps of 8 W each.
