Historical Museum Basel

The Historical Museum Basel houses the most comprehensive cultural historic collection on the Oberrhein and is one of the largest museums of its kind. It operates four exhibition halls: The Barfüsserkirche and the Haus zum Kirschgarten show a broad cross-section of the collection, whereas the Musikmuseum and the Kutschenmuseum are set up as specialist museums. All four exhibitions are housed in historic buildings. A band of lights with NauticProfil Victory-3 and colour temperature 2700K lights up the central image which shows a section of the atlas by Gerhard Mercator "Cabinet of Awe".

Specially for the interior lighting of the table cabinet with artefacts from Erasmus of Rotterdam in the new permanent exhibition "Road to Knowledge", the office atelier deLuxe developed specialist lighting based on MiniLine Victory-3.
